Brown the ground beef or sausage in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked.
Drain any excess grease and set the meat aside.
Step 2: Make the Creamy Mixture
In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise.
Mix until smooth and creamy.
Add the garlic, onions, green chilies, paprika, black pepper, and salt. Stir until everything is evenly incorporated.
Step 3: Add the Cheese and Meat
Fold in the cooked meat, shredded cheddar, and about half of the mozzarella.
Mix well so every bite gets plenty of cheesy goodness.
Step 4: Transfer to a Baking Dish
Spread the mixture into a lightly greased baking dish.
Smooth the top with a spatula.
Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella evenly over the surface.
Step 5: Bake
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Bake for approximately 20–25 minutes, until the dip is hot, bubbling around the edges, and the cheese on top is melted and golden.
For an extra-browned top, place it under the broiler for the final 1–2 minutes, watching closely.
Step 6: Garnish and Serve
Remove the dip from the oven and let it cool for about 5 minutes.
Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately with plenty of crunchy tortilla chips.
The creamy center, savory meat, melted cheese, and golden crust make this the kind of appetizer that disappears incredibly fast.
And if you’re taking it to a church gathering, family party, or potluck, don’t be surprised if you come home with an empty dish!
