10-Minute Pineapple Coconut Dessert

  • by

Place the shredded coconut in a dry skillet over medium-low heat.

Stir frequently until it becomes lightly golden and fragrant.

Remove from the heat immediately and allow it to cool.

Step 2: Prepare the Cream Layer

Beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.

Fold in the whipped topping until light and fluffy.

Step 3: Assemble the Dessert

Place the cooled yellow cake in the bottom of a 9 Γ— 13-inch baking dish.

Use a fork to poke holes throughout the cake.

Pour the crushed pineapple and its juice evenly over the cake, allowing the juice to soak into the cake.

Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the pineapple layer.

Step 4: Add the Coconut

Sprinkle the toasted coconut generously over the entire surface.

Add a few small dollops of whipped topping for decoration if desired.

Step 5: Chill

Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Although the preparation takes only about 10 minutes, chilling allows the flavors to blend and gives the dessert a wonderfully soft, creamy texture.

Step 6: Serve

Cut into squares and serve cold.

Each bite combines moist pineapple-soaked cake, creamy cheesecake filling, juicy pineapple, and toasted coconut.

It’s sweet without being complicated, and it’s especially good straight from the refrigerator.

Make it once for a dinner party and don’t be surprised when everyone asks for the recipe! 🍍πŸ₯₯🍰
