At 60, I’ve learned that taking care of your body starts with the simple choices you make every day. One food I’ve recently started enjoying regularly is fresh beetroot.
I love it sliced into a simple salad or enjoyed alongside other fresh vegetables. It’s naturally rich in nutrients and contains dietary fiber, making it a colorful and nutritious addition to a balanced diet.
Some people online claim that beetroot can restore eyesight, remove liver fat, or “cleanse” the colon overnight. Those claims are exaggerated—no single food can guarantee those results. However, eating a diet rich in vegetables and fiber can support overall health, while conditions such as fatty liver or vision problems should be discussed with a healthcare professional.
