3-Ingredient Sweetened Condensed Milk Cake

This incredibly simple dessert starts with a can of sweetened condensed milk and just two other ingredients. The result is a soft, rich, golden cake with a wonderfully creamy texture.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (14 oz / 397 g) sweetened condensed milk
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup (125 g) all-purpose flour
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon vanilla extract or a little powdered sugar for serving

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Preheat the oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease an 8-inch or 9-inch baking pan.

2. Add the condensed milk
Pour the entire can of sweetened condensed milk into a large mixing bowl.

3. Add the eggs
Crack the eggs into the bowl and whisk thoroughly until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy.

4. Add the flour
Gradually add the flour, mixing continuously until you have a smooth batter without large lumps. If desired, add vanilla extract for extra flavor.

5. Pour into the pan
Transfer the batter into the prepared baking pan and gently smooth the surface.

6. Bake
Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 30–40 minutes, or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

7. Cool
Remove from the oven and allow the cake to cool for about 15–20 minutes before slicing.

8. Serve
Slice and serve as-is, or dust lightly with powdered sugar. It is delicious warm with coffee or tea and can also be topped with fresh berries or whipped cream.

Tip: Because sweetened condensed milk is already very sweet, there is no need to add extra sugar to the batter.
