Posts like the one in the image claim that a “miracle fruit” can dissolve cataracts overnight and restore perfect vision within 24 hours. This claim is false. There is no fruit, juice, supplement, or home remedy that has been proven to reverse or cure cataracts.
Cataracts occur when the natural lens of the eye becomes cloudy over time. Once a cataract has developed, the only proven treatment is cataract surgery.
What Are Cataracts?
A cataract is a clouding of the eye’s natural lens that causes vision to become blurry or hazy.
Common symptoms include:
- Blurry or cloudy vision
- Difficulty seeing at night
- Increased sensitivity to bright lights
- Halos around lights
- Colors appearing faded or yellow
- Frequent changes in eyeglass prescription
Cataracts usually develop gradually over several years.
Can Fruit Reverse Cataracts?
No.
Although fruits contain antioxidants and vitamins that support overall eye health, they cannot remove an existing cataract or restore a cloudy lens to normal.
Claims of “overnight cataract repair” or “clear vision while you sleep” are not supported by scientific evidence.
